This painting symbolises the yongka (kangaroo) and weitj (emu), important animals in Noongar culture. Walking the lands together. Caring for the land that they feed and live on. They provided the Noongar people with food and other materials to survive. Hunting, gathering and cooking. Teaching Noongar ways and culture to young people. Passing down knowledge.
